World Trade Center Health Program

The WTC Health Program serves four groups of people affected by the 9/11 attacks:

  • FDNY Responders

  • WTC General Responders

  • WTC Survivors (lived, worked, or went to school in NYC Disaster Area or were present in the dust or dust cloud), and

  • Pentagon/Shanksville Responders

For those affected, legal assistance is available to ensure you receive the support and compensation you deserve.

Barasch & McGarry is a trusted law firm dedicated to helping 9/11 victims and their families. They specialize in representing individuals who lived, worked, or attended school in Lower Manhattan and have since suffered from 9/11-related illnesses.

The FealGood Foundation

The FealGood Foundation aims to assist all emergency personnel, including but not limited to, firefighters, police officers, nurses, volunteers, sanitation workers, transportation workers and construction workers, within the United States who have been injured, or face serious injury due to action or omission, in the course of their duties or within their everyday lives.

Standfast Alliance

StandFast Alliance identified a need for resiliency training to help first responders, military personnel and families optimize performance and deal with occupational stress. Through their educational workshops and peer coaching programs they seek to make resiliency training accessible to this community.

The Ray Pfeifer Foundation

The Ray Pfeifer Foundation is a 501c3 charitable organization dedicated to assisting September 11th first responders with medical needs not covered by insurance. The foundation was established in memory of Ray Pfeifer, a NYC firefighter who died on May 28, 2017 from 9/11 cancer.

Responder resilience podcast

A valuable resource for first responders, this podcast dives into the unique challenges and achievements faced by firefighters, EMTs, dispatchers, and law enforcement professionals. Listen to firsthand accounts from those who serve on the front lines, as they tackle critical job-related issues and discuss strategies for maintaining mental and physical wellness with the hosts.

StuyHealth is an advocacy group representing young adults who were impacted by the events of 9/11 and the resulting clean-up.
